With their breadth of experience in both orchestral and pop music, Emmy Award-winning trio Time for Three is coming together to offer student musicians a series of lectures, masterclasses, and performances, addressing both the micro and macro-level needs of aspiring artists through a holistic, virtual approach.

MASTERCLASSES

 

Featured as guest artists by NPR’s “From the Top,” New York’s “Education Through Music,” and the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Time for Three has a history of working with and inspiring student musicians of all ages. 

Virtual masterclass formats include:

  • Traditional Masterclass

  • Improvisation Workshops

  • “Break-Out” Sessions - small groups

 

Lectures

As a Juilliard and Curtis-trained band with almost two decades of experience ranging from NPR’s Tiny Desk to Carnegie Hall, Time for Three understands the music industry from the standpoint of both artists and small business owners. Through their lecture series, Charles, Nick, and Ranaan aim to educate aspiring artists with the knowledge they’ve gained over the years, featuring topics including, but not limited to:

•Producing engaging content, both together and remotely

•Creating a diverse career with a range of collaborators

•A friendly entry into improvisation

•Balancing artistry with running a small business

•Working with living composers in developing new works
